• I work the city and county government beat, while also helping with legislative and breaking news. I produce 3-6 stories a week and constantly chip away at bigger, enterprise pieces.

Associated Press (St. Paul, MN). Legislative Session Reporter, Jan. 2017 – May 2017

• My work at the AP covered a wide-range of Legislative topics, including accountability, statewide regulations, infrastructure and education policy, among others. I had several stories appear on the national wire.

Minnesota Daily (Minneapolis, MN). Associate Editor, Staff Reporter, Jan 2015 – Dec. 2016

• Managed four policy reporters who produce eight stories a week. I covered topics that include university governance, administration, state legislature, city government and crime.
